Privacy & data choices

Updated September 13, 2026.

Your saved game

Your puzzle progress, game settings and music preference are saved in this browser. Clearing browser storage removes that progress. We do not require a player account.

Usage analytics

We use first-party usage statistics to understand whether the page opens, the puzzle becomes ready, and players start puzzles, finish them, spend time actively playing and return on another day. When enabled, a random browser identifier connects those visits. It identifies a browser, not a verified person, and is not anonymous data. Page visits are measured before play begins; only actual puzzle interaction counts toward player retention.

Events include random event, page, session and round identifiers, time, level number, whether hints were used, and the campaign labels in links that brought you here. We record a small set of milestones, such as placing a cat or correcting a rule conflict, not every square you tap. We also collect the game version, a mobile or desktop category, loading time and limited error diagnostics with available script locations. We do not ask for or include your name, email address, full browsing history or puzzle board in these events. We do not send these gameplay events to TikTok or add an advertising pixel.

Linked event records are stored on Cloudflare and removed after 90 days, with a daily cleanup. Your first-play date stays in your browser so later returns are not counted as brand-new players. Cloudflare also processes network information to deliver and protect the site; its infrastructure logs and recovery systems have separate retention. A network address may be used temporarily to limit abusive requests but is not saved in our gameplay database.

Your choice

You can turn Usage analytics off in the game settings. This stops future gameplay events and clears this browser's pending events and analytics identifier. It does not erase your game or music preference, or delete previously received records before their retention expires. Turning analytics back on starts a new browser identifier. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.

Understanding the numbers

Statistics use America/Chicago calendar days. Returning on the next day and on the seventh day are measured separately. Changing devices, clearing storage, opting out or blocking requests affects the counts. These statistics help us improve the game; they do not follow you across other websites.
